1st-2nd Multiage Spelling
The I Can Spell Spelling Program is a self paced program that encourages children to learn at their own pace. Each student is expected to take a spelling test each week. Spelling tests are dictation tests in which the student writes one or more dictated sentences that contain past and present spelling words. Before the end of the school year, each student is expected to spell all of the Sitton No Excuse Words correctly in their writing with 100% accuracy.
Sitton No Excuse Words Spelling List 1 has 35 words. These words are the minimum your first grader should be able to spell correctly in their daily writing. List 2 is the minimum your second grader should be able to spell correctly in their daily writing.
